The latest efforts by six local nonprofit organizations to improve health equity has reached thousands of people in the Finger Lakes Region. As part of this work, individuals are getting connected to health care resources at barber shops and beauty salons. Families are receiving one-on-one mental health counseling or assistance covering medication and other costs. Troubled teens are receiving help to turn their lives around, free colon cancer screening kits are being distributed and high-risk, pregnant moms are receiving free housing close to a hospital. These efforts are supported through our Health Equity Innovation Awards. Thank you for your continued partnership in making a difference in our communities. This diverse group includes medical, dental and behavioral health specialists. Their work ensures that every one of our members is receiving equitable, high-quality care that’s as affordable as possible. Read more at https://bit.ly/44wQNoR

We recently had the opportunity to present our career journeys and insights to the SUNY Broome Community College Business Club members. We also shared how we are dedicated to improving the well-being of individuals and our communities. We believe that empowering the younger generation is the key to building a brighter future, and witnessing the enthusiasm and eagerness of these students only reaffirmed our commitment to supporting and nurturing their potential. #SUNYBroomeBusinessClub

The Greater Binghamton Bridge Run held on Sunday and faced an unexpected challenge this year with the cold and rainy conditions. However, the rain did not dampen the spirits of the participants nor detract from the event's success. In fact, it showcased the resilience and determination of both the community, the participating businesses and the amazing racers. We were once again the presenting sponsor of the “Kids Fun Run” that took place on the Binghamton Rumble Ponies Baseball Field at Mirabito Stadium. Kids were able to run the bases with Rowdy the mascot and received a free t-shirt for their participation.
